1.Introduction :

We carry out here a comparative benchmark GPU/OpenCL versus MPI on numerical solving of the Heat equation. We will see the differences of performances between the two codes and the influence of various execution parameters as the number of concurrent threads and size of grid. The two versions for 2D case are in the following archive :
